WindEnergy 2022, the world's largest and most important gathering of the wind energy industry, will take place in Hamburg from Sept. 27 to 30, 2022. The multiple range of topics covering all aspects of wind-based energy generation will attract numerous national and international companies and visitors to the Hamburg exhibition halls. Impressive exhibition stands with numerous interesting exhibits, an exciting portfolio of specialist presentations as well as top-class discussion panels await the trade fair participants.
As a "Baumusterprüfstelle" (designated type examination body) of the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV) for aircraft detection lighting systems (ADLS), the trade fair was a must-attend event for AviaCert:
In numerous discussions, our employees were able to initiate a valuable exchange with both technical operators, wind turbine operators and UAV providers as well as with manufacturers of obstacle markings and aircraft detection lighting systems (ADLS) manufacturers. In addition, the EnBW Offshore Drone Forum with focus on "WindEnergy meets Drones" offered an interesting dialog between technology, business, science and regulation. In exciting short presentations, the technological approaches and use cases were presented and the great importance of an uniform regulatory framework for the offshore use of unmanned aerial vehicles was emphatically pointed out.
The impressions gained and the meetings arranged will now be processed accordingly in the follow-up of the trade fair.
