As a congress and annual trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management, INTERGEO covers all the important trends along the entire value chain - from the collection of geobased data to its refinement and system-integrated application.
In the context of compliance, planning and construction projects at airports, AviaCert has already been working for many years with geodata and procedures to process these data accordingly and to use them meaningfully in corresponding projects. At the same time, a secure as-built data situation is the basis for successful acceptance and commissioning - here, options for rapid testing and verification are particularly relevant.
Against this background, we were able to exchange ideas on site with various manufacturers of corresponding hardware for surveying and condition and data recording, as well as with software manufacturers who are pursuing various interesting approaches in data processing.
All in all, it was an exciting and, above all, insightful visit to INTERGEO 2022. A great deal of dynamism in the areas of software and technology development was noticeable and visible, which, among other things, also holds interesting possibilities for implementation in ongoing AviaCert projects.
In addition, numerous research and educational institutions were present, which speaks for a great appeal of the topic also in the scientific and academic field.
Overall, it is to be expected that geo and inventory data management will continue to gain in importance, especially in the infrastructure sector, which is why the motto for us is: We'll be back!
